The 10th year of the festival, Movement 2009 took place in Hart Plaza of Downtown Detroit, spanning Memorial Day Weekend.

By far, the most difficult shoot I’ve undertaken: constantly changing lighting, intimidating surroundings and the fleeting windows of time I have to get the shot. After each day, I’d come home and collapse, worn down from constantly trotting from stage to stage, negotiating huge crowds with camera gear in tow.

I’ve never had so much fun.
