Bada Bing! Optimizing Your Site for Bing
The shiny new kid on the block bing.com has been garnering a bit of attention in the seo game ( think Isabella Swan from Twilight, minus the vampires and her vapid stares ). Nothing like a fresh face to stir up some commotion in the dominated search engine crowd.

Anyone catch the commercial during an NBA finals game?
Flexibility is a must when seo strategy is concerned; algorithms get tweaked and new comers rise. With the advent of bing comes a perfect opportunity to demonstrate our seamless adaption to shifting rules in the game of optimization.
Localize Your Website for Bing’s Local Search
Three steps to capitalize on bing’s strength in the local search arena:
- List your website/business on bing’s local listing page.
- Visit bing’s submission page to offer your URL to the search engine gods.
- Sign up for a webmaster account with bing to manage your sitemaps, product information, and videos.
Though not as large or deep rooted as Google, bing has piqued enough curiosity for everyone to take a bite.
-bang.

Domain age appears to be the dominant factor. My site is appearing on page 1 of google and yahoo for my targeted keywords, but i appear outside the top 100 on Bing.
Hm, interesting how ranking can differ across different search engines.
Maybe search will evolve where every type of search will require a specific search engine. thanks for the comment, Ian!
