Tonight at midnight, Facebook will allow users to register vanity URLs for profiles for both users. Allowing users to choose their URL will make 1) sharing your facebook profile address easier 2) your social media page easier to identify and brand.
Instead of your URL looking like this
facebook.com/profile.php=id?2098203985=3240982
you’ll have a URL looking like this:
facebook.com/ianderthal
To claim your own ( yes YOUR very own URL ), visit Facebook.com/username. They are available on a first come, first serve basis, so get it while its hot. If you don’t, this might end up happening.
