Woman: Roses! Roses! Anyone wants to buy roses?
Me: How much?
Woman: 2 for $5.
Me: Gee, I dunno, that’s kind of steep.
Woman: Your girlfriend looks like she wants one.
Me: …that’s not my girlfriend. Hey, that guy over there said he’d give me 2 for $4 *motions to another man selling roses 30 ft away*
Me: On second thought, that might not be a good idea. We’re kinda in an economic recession.
Woman: *looks me dead in the eye* Don’t Participate.
