Safety is placed ahead of all tasks at Lee Wind Energy. Our commitment to safety and health is designed to prevent employee accidents/injuries and to promote a positive working environment.

When our company meets all of its safety goals, it translates to better service and cost for our customers.

The Lee Wind Energy's Safety Program is comprised of the following benchmarks:

Safety Leadership

Lee Wind Energy's leaders are an important part of the safety culture. Our President, Safety Director, Account Representatives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen are all personally involved in, dedicated and committed to safety in the workplace and on the worksites. All members of our staff work with our associates to find and correct safety issues way in advance to prevent accidents.

Weekly Safety Meetings

Toolbox Safety Meetings are held weekly from the inception of every job. These meetings are conducted by the on-site foreman. Attendance by all employees is mandatory in keeping in line with our safety commitment. Our company safety director periodically visits sites to conduct safety inspections and verify compliance to our published safety program.

Employee Training

We educate new employees from the very beginning of their employment on the importance of safety within our company. In addition to scheduled safety training, employees are thoroughly trained on the safe practices and job hazards within their job. We recognize the importance of developing the safety culture early on in an employee's career.

Safety Director

As a large part of our pledge to safety and health, Lee Wind Energy employs a Safety Director with years of experience in development and maintenance of world class programs. Our Safety Director works closely with administrative and field personnel to ensure that the company meets or exceeds all safety regulations.
